The Sussex Granary was truly amazing. It is hands down the best place we have ever stayed at.

Amanda and Chris were wonderful hosts and gave us plenty of recommendations of things to do and see in the area.

The property was impeccable - from the squeaky clean surfaces, underfloor heating, comfy beds and plenty of board games to the amazing views of the sunrise and sunset (oh and the deer!).

It’s the perfect combination of peaceful, cozy and quiet and we honestly cannot wait to go back!

Just before Christmas I had the good fortune to stay at the Granary with my two children. What a wonderful time we had. The location is beautiful So tranquil and rural, (even the deer arrive on que every morning in the fields the barn overlooks) but its still really close to Arundel and the supermarkets.

The barn itself is amazing. Every detail has been thought of and is perfect. Amanda and Chris went way above and beyond to make our stay special. They are not just hosts, they are friends who welcome you into their lives.

If you are looking for the most amazing place to stay in West Sussex you can stop looking…you’ve found it.

Wow. I honestly think this is one of the most beautiful stays I’ve ever had.
The pictures actually do not do this place justice. It is honestly so lovely and so cosy. The perfect place for a catch up with a long distance friend.

The location is idyllic, so close to so many amenities yet somehow you feel totally secluded. The views were incredible and there was everything we needed to have a wonderful stay.

The welcome hamper was a really kind gesture, big thanks to Amanda & Chris for being so welcoming and attentive.

The attention to detail was fantastic (eg, explanatory notes around the house like how the shower works and to log out of streaming services before we leave). These little touches actually make the difference and just show how great the rest of the stay was.

The location is beautiful as well. Wonderfully well isolated but still close enough to a beautiful town (Arundel). I think we would love to come back one day :)

Thank you Chris and Amanda for being such fabulous hosts. The Sussex Granary was simply idyllic and perfect for a relaxed weekend break. The welcome goodies were such a lovely touch; as were the chocolates on our pillow.

Despite the weather, you could not have made our stay any more enjoyable or comfortable. For anyone looking for beautiful scenery and a peaceful weekend break less than 90 mins from London, I would highly recommend. Thank you again.

If I could give 10 stars instead of 5, I would! We stayed at Amanda and Chris’s beautiful home for 3 nights during our wedding on NYE and it surpassed all expectations!

They went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful, even putting out congratulations bunting when we arrived back on the wedding night!

The photos are beautiful but still do not do it justice, the views are outstanding, the home is stunning with the most beautiful furnishings and from the moment I walked in I felt relaxed!

The beds are super comfy, and the underfloor heating makes the place feel so cosy and the attention to detail throughout is fantastic!

There is nothing they haven’t thought of, everything you need is covered and Amanda was super quick to respond.

We didn’t manage to get out for a walk as the weather had other ideas but the area is perfect for exploring and Arundel is one of the prettiest towns in the Sussex with some lovely restaurants and shops. Thank you again!

One of the highlights was the firepit, which Amanda went out of her way to prepare for us. It made our evenings so special, sitting around the fire under the stars. The location in Arundel is fantastic as well, providing a perfect balance of tranquility and easy access to local attractions.

The beds were incredibly comfortable, ensuring we all had a great night’s sleep after our days of exploring. Overall, this is a lovely place with an exceptional host. Highly recommend!

Amazing little spot. Probably the best air bnb I’ve stayed in as it ticks all the boxes. Well equipped. Espresso pods for the machine, small spice cupboard, all the kitchen untensils you’ll need. Bathrooms immaculate. Even oral B charging ports in both bathrooms for electric toothbrushes ! Attentive hosts who stay in touch and respond swiftly. Youll find it hard to find another property that tops this one :)

The house is absolutely stunning, situated in a picturesque location with mesmerising views of the surrounding corn fields. Every aspect of our stay, from the charming little details to the incredible scenery, exceeded our expectations.
